Putting the "Human" in Human Ecology: Social Sciences & Humanities at COA

Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 3:30 PM until 4:30 PMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

From literature to history, public policy, philosophy, anthropology, economics, psychology and poetry, COA offers many different types of courses that cover the "traditional" fields often associated with the humanities and social sciences. Join Karen Waldron, the Lisa Stewart Chair in Literature and Women's Studies, and Jamie McKown, the J.R. Wiggins Chair in Government and Polity, for a look into how we make sense of the "human" in human ecology. They will talk a bit about the various ways COA students tackle these topics from an inter/transdisciplinary approach. They will be joined by several current COA students who can provide their own unique perspectives on their coursework in human studies. Please make sure to bring your questions!
